Greetings from L.A.! I gave a verbal summary of comments to Sanjay on my
last day in India. I hope it helps and I hope it wasn't overly critical.
I also realized that I returned the wrong phone charger to you; I gave you the charger to my HongKong phone instead of the charger to the India phone you gave me. I subsequently lost my HK phone while going through security check from Delhi (I think some security guy took it out of my hand carry baggage without letting me know and then forgot to put it back and I didn't realize it was missing until I arrived in HongKong) so I don't need the charger anyway. I hope you're able to replace the charger for your
India phone - my apologies for the confusion.
I wanted to correct something I reported to Sanjay (I hope I got the name
right, I couldn't find the card) just so so you have it right for the
record. I complained about the guide in Jaipur but I subsequently
remembered there were two guides in Jaipur. The one who took us to Amer
Fort for the elephant ride was good. It was the other one who was
supposed to take us to the Fatepur Sikri (the one with the mosque inside)
who had a problem with getting permission to do the guiding. He
apparently didn't have the proper license or something and had tremendous
problems with getting entrance into Fatehpur Sikri because of the license
issue. It was after much argument and altercation that they let him in.
After he got in, he didn't have that much to say either. We ended up
being toured inside the mosque by someone else on site. The
agent/representative in Jaipur as well as Varanasi was hardly there. They both
showed up only upon our arrival and neither went with us to the airport.
All in all, as I had told Sanjay, it was a wonderful trip and I am most
impressed with you and your staff including the driver, Sanjay and Raj.
Hopefully the comments were helpful and we wish you every success in your
business!
Mimie Lee
